Q: Are prices per charter or per person?

A: Prices and rates are per charter. Up to six people can be booked on each charter.

Q: Are boat tours and cruises private?

A: Yes! When you book with Capt. Jim, only you and the passengers you’re booking with will have the tour or cruise.

Q: Where do I go to start charter?

A: Pickup spots for tours or cruises are in Beaufort and Morehead City and will be provided during booking based off where your’re coming from or where you want tour to go.

Q: Can I bring food and drinks onboard?

A: Yes, food and drinks can be brought on board as well as coolers.

Q: Can we bring our dog(s) with us?

A: Dogs are welcomed aboard and can go Island Hopping too. Dogs do not count towards passenger count.

Q: Can kids go on charters?

A: Yes, children are allowed to have fun too! Kids do count to maximum passenger amount of 6 though.

Q: What if the weather is bad the day I booked for?

A: Capt. Jim monitors the weather in advance and up to day of for every booking and will call or reach out if your charter needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. If cancelled due to weather, amount paid for booking is refunded in full if not rescheduled.

Q: Can I perform a mutiny while on a boat tour?

A: Yes! Mutineers are marooned and made to walk the plank. Right after we find an actual plank. If no plank is found or mutineer does not know where Captain Blackbeard buried his treasure, then the mutiny is void and mutineer will have to enjoy their cruise as normal.
